CloneBeacon™ / HiXP™Accelerated Protein Generation & Producer-Cell Discovery TechnologiesProprietary productivity-enrichment workflows designed to accelerate protein generation, reduce clone-screening burden, and support earlier identification of productive CHO cell populations. Designed to support pharma, CRO/CDMO, and biologics-development teams by shifting early CHO workflows from survival selection to productivity discovery.
Available through: Strategic collaborations, sponsored evaluations, workflow-integration partnerships, and licensing discussions. Provisional patent applications filed.
Technology OverviewTraditional CHO cell-line development can require prolonged selection, broad clone expansion, and expensive product-specific assays before high producers are identified. CloneBeacon™ / HiXP™ is designed to identify and enrich productive cell populations earlier using a linked small secreted reporter signal — small SSP™ — allowing productive wells or populations to be ranked before costly downstream expansion.
Core concept: Measure productivity earlier, advance only the strongest producers, and integrate the workflow into existing CHO development infrastructure.
Technology Proof Points1. From Survival Selection to Productivity DiscoveryCloneBeacon™ changes early CHO cell-line development from selection based mainly on cell survival to early ranking based on productivity-linked reporter output. Figure 1: CloneBeacon™ enables early, non-destructive productivity ranking before expensive clone expansion and product-specific assays. Core principle: replace late survival-based screening with early productivity-linked screening.
2. Two Complementary Workflow PathsHiXP™ and CloneBeacon™ provide two related entry points into biologics workflows. Figure 2: HiXP™ creates rapid protein-generation value; CloneBeacon™ creates producer-cell discovery value. The platform is differentiated by the combination — not any single component.
3. Iterative Productivity EnrichmentSmall SSP™-based screening enables non-destructive ranking so productive expression states can be enriched, expanded, and re-ranked. Figure 3: Transfect → rank by small SSP™ → enrich winners → re-expand → generate higher-productivity populations.
4. Early Detection of Productive Clonal WellsCloneBeacon™ supports detection of productive monoclonal and oligoclonal wells using a secreted productivity-linked reporter signal. It is designed to integrate into existing pharma, CRO, or CDMO workflows rather than replace established manufacturing infrastructure. 5. Workflow Integration OpportunitiesCloneBeacon™ / HiXP™ is designed to integrate into existing pharma, CRO, or CDMO workflows rather than replace established manufacturing infrastructure. Figure 5: Targeting Systems supplies expression constructs, small SSP™ detection reagents,
and workflow support for partner evaluation studies.
